3 International Trade Shows 6th Bangladesh BUILDCON  International Expo 2022,Ruijie Presents 6th Bangladesh WOOD International Expo, Inaugural edition of Electrical Expo Bangladesh 2022 was organised between 24 and 26 November 2022 at the Expo Zone, International Convention City Bashundhara. Hon’ble Minister of Planning M.A. Mannan  inaugurated the tradeshows..

Jointly Organised by ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, Futurex Trade Fairs & Events Pvt Ltd and Bangladesh Electrical Association, the three international trade shows had participation of nearly 200 companies including a pavilion of Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) from India and other exhibitors from overseas along with leading domestic players with focus on Innovation, Machinery Materials, & Products related to Architecture, Building, Construction, Design, Wood & Woodworking, Electrical Products  providing an opportunity to source from a large numbers of suppliers.

In the three shows, more than 2,000 brands from nearly 200 International and domestic exhibitors were on display. On display were various building materials, machinery, equipment, and other technological advancements, machinery, tools, materials related to the wood and furniture industries including hardware, tools, fittings, laminates, boards, coatings, abrasives, and adhesives, among other things. Also on display were various electrical products and accessories showcased by members of Bangladesh Electrical Association.

The purpose of the event was to help Bangladesh’s furniture, construction and electrical industries to find alternate suppliers, optimise costs and find newer solutions. “ We are happy to be back in business after a gap due to Pandemic and response to the event was highly encouraging resulting in 5100 business visitors from Building & Construction, Furniture and Electrical sector”  Said Mr. Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan, MD ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd .

“Given the situation where availability is sketchy, costs are escalating and deliveries are uncertain, the event helped in identifying new sources and look at cost-saving options that have become critical to business. Exhibitors were also able to showcase their machinery and products which was well appreciated as per the feedback received from visitors ” said K. Nandagopal, Director of ASK Trade & Exhibitions.
